Columbus Financial Center Closure

Effective Wednesday, July 17th, 2024, we will permanently close the Columbus Financial Center located at 1908 Hwy 45 N Ste 1, Columbus, MS 39705.

Even though this location will be closing, you will still have access to over 55,000 surcharge-free ATMs through the AllPoint network. You can use the “Locations & ATMs” locator on our website to find an ATM near you.

Additionally, we encourage you to use Soarion Credit Union Digital Banking. Our digital banking services allow you to manage your finances and conduct most of your banking transactions online via your web browser or the Soarion Mobile App. Through digital banking, you can apply for loans, make loan payments, pay bills, transfer money between accounts, and deposit checks.

Would you prefer to work with one of our member advisors? Have our advisors reach out to you on your time! You can now schedule an online appointment and connect with our advisors through a video session or a phone call.

Thank you for your membership and for allowing us the opportunity to help you reach your financial goals. We will keep you informed of the latest news about this closure on social media and on our website at www.soarion.org.

Sincerely,

Ryan Ross

Columbus Closure FAQs

As part of our ongoing commitment to providing the best possible service, we continuously evaluate our operations to ensure we are meeting your needs effectively and efficiently. After a thorough review, we have made the difficult decision to close our Columbus Financial Center. This decision was not made lightly. Several factors were considered, including changing member behaviors, the increased use of digital banking services, and the need to align resources with the long-term strategic goals of the credit union to best serve our membership.

Once you are a member, you will always be a member of the credit union. Your account will remain open. You will have access to online banking, mobile app, our Member Engagement Center, to speak to a live advisor, or make an appointment with our Member Advocacy Center.

There are a number of ways to access your money. You may use any Soarion or Allpoint ATM with no fees. You may choose cash back when completing PIN based debit card transactions. You may call the Member Engagement Center to request a wire transfer. You may log onto Soarion CU Digital Banking or the Soarion Mobile App and select bill pay to request a check be mailed to you directly. You may also request a cash advance using your debit card at any participating bank or credit union.

No.

We cannot accept cash deposits at this time since there are no Allpoint Plus ATMs near Columbus for deposits.

Our Soarion CU Mobile App is available to eligible members for mobile check deposits. Checks by phone are available for loan payments and must be drawn on their own account. For loan payments, you can use your bank/credit union bill pay, QuickPay with a checking account or debit card, or you can send your payment one week before your due date to:

            Soarion Credit Union

            Attn: Payment Processing

1560 Cable Ranch Rd, STE 200

            San Antonio, TX 78245

No.

Regular fees will apply if you are not using a Soarion ATM (located, 1720 US HWY 45, Columbus, MS 39705 ) or an AllPoint ATM.

This will not affect any scheduled appointments or transactions. We have appointments available through video and phone (we’ll call you), not at the Financial Center.

Yes, staff will be onsite through Wednesday, July 17 to introduce and familiarize you with our alternative banking services.  We have appointments available through video done remotely, not at the financial center. Our Member Engagement Center will be happy to help you set up an appointment or you may visit our website to schedule an appointment.

There is nothing you need to do; the deposits will still go into your account and automatic payments will still work.

We would love to set up a worry-free option such as visiting our website, www.soarion.org, to make a loan payment using Digital Banking, Mobile App, Bill Pay, or QuickPay. You may also mail a check to:
